Let’s spice up the markings currently in game, with some new designs!

      Event ends – March 7th

      Basic rules:

      • Players may submit up to three designs total, and may only win one prize total. Designs from past contests may be resubmitted.
      • Submissions can be drawn, or written, but should show of what the marking will look like.
      • Markings can be for Kirunhounds only, Popokee only, or both species.
      • Markings should not be too close to current designs, or bypass rules.
      • Markings should offer players some room to be unique in how it’s used, so don’t be too restrictive.

When submitting a design, please do the following:

If drawing, draw a side view that shows up the marking. If only writing your entry, please describe the areas the marking covers, and does not cover. For both types of submissions, please include the following info –

Describe the marking’s range and rules. Can it be soft or hard edged and does it affect scale/plant color, ect?
Describe the color range this marking can be. Black, white, or another color from the coat range?

      ______________

Designs will be voted on on site, and the top three will earn some rewards.

      Rewards:

       First Prize –

Credit to add their marking to a Genotype on character creation. Choice of one Food Plate, and One Tincture.

      Second Prize –

Blue Azoth. Choice of one Food Plate.

      Crypt

      Name of Marking: Crypt

      Species: Kirunhound and Popokee

Description: Ghostly in appearance, this marking never seems to appear the same way on a Kirunhound or Popokee. It’s always a lighter color than the base coat, and typically has soft edges that fade into the fur, giving it an even more ghostly appearance. Crypt can affect any of the bones but the spine and ribs are most common. It usually carries all the way down to the tail, and leaves a wispy marking across the face.
The markings can be quite faint, but never completely solid, and gradients are common.
